WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
Licking the remains of a mouse from her teeth, the apprentice stared down at the other groups' territories from her perch atop the volcano. She still thought that the Pyronites had the coolest territory; I mean, who cared about a beach or a valley or whatever? She could see everything! The Aquinites were just over there, by the Earthinites; the Draftinites were probably behind her, Sunpaw decided with a flick of her tail.
Her warrior ceremony was due any day now, and the Patrol Officer had been wondering what her name would be for weeks. Sunspots? Sundancer? Sunriches? Sunseeker? Hm, those all sounded nice... Lost in thought, Sunpaw stared off into the distance.

"Hello, Sunpaw."
The voice of Oraclekeeper had sounded from a slight distance, seeming to be just a few feet or so. She, too, enjoyed the volcanoes; although she was not the single cat to survive the volcanic explosion, she had still grown up here and even joined during the repopulation. It was hard and rough-- not to mention several traumatic events had taken place during those times, though it seemed as if she'd gotten over the things. She even worked her way up to Sheriff. Funny, huh?
The fawn tabby was then close enough that she could sit by the slightly shorter trainee, though she gave the other feline space. She did not want to pop her personal bubble at all, that wouldn't be quite good, would it? "Enjoying the view?"
Straightening up as Oraclekeeper approached, Sunpaw dipped her head respectively to the Sheriff, twitching her ears in greeting. "Hello, Oraclekeeper... Yeah, the view's quite lovely. I wonder what it would look like when the sun is setting." she said thoughtfully. Somehow, she'd never really seen it before; she'd joined over a week ago, but she'd never been at the top of the volcano during sunset.
"Anyway, er, how are you?" Sunpaw asked, curling her tail over her paws.

"You've never seen the sunset before?" She cocked an invisible brow as she turned her head to glance at the female, though her look was only from the corner of her eye. Perhaps she was not a night own or something, or maybe she just did not care enough to look at the horizon. Well, either way the Sheriff thought it was somewhat odd. "I suppose we could wait to watch it. That is, if you want. Sunset shouldn't be too far."
"I'm quite well-- the little battle we had with the Aquinites sort of refreshened me. What about you?"
Realizing her mistake, Sunpaw added, "Oh, no, I mean from up here... I imagine it'd look better than down on the ground, right?" At least, she thought it would; it'd suck if it looked the same, but she doubted it.
The Patrol Officer, listening to Oraclekeeper's other remark, answered, "I'm doing fine as well; I'm excited about getting my warrior name, though! I keep imagining what it'll be." she said, thinking up other possibilities even as she spoke.

She nodded her head at her reply, deciding to leave it at that. Clarification was key in the world; sometimes, big mistakes happened when you weren't clear. And then, there was always that domino effect; then again, this was wasn't important, so at least this wasn't a life or death situation.
"Do you have anything in mind for it?" She meowed, lining her attention across the scenery as she spoke. There were many things that she could make out "Sunpaw"; she remembered when she was a young trainee, being called 'Oraclepaw'. Ah, things were simpler back then.
"Hm... well, I have some ideas, but none of them really click. I guess when I find out what it will be it'll just... sound right, huh?" Sunpaw mused, tapping her paw against the ground thoughtfully. Hmph, she hoped so.
"What did you think your warrior name was going to be? Oraclepaw isn't that common a name." the Patrol Officer pointed out, flicking her tail.
