Any rule broken will result in a warning; if infractions continue, a ban may be given.
These rules must be read in order to properly play Solarite.
1. All members must be courteous to each other.
Rudeness and bullying is not tolerated; if a member if being rude to you, report it. Arguing with a member can get you a warning as well. If a staff member is not treating you correctly, PM an Administrator; staff members are expected to abide by the same rules that members do. Drama is not tolerated as well.
--> This includes telling someone what to do, otherwise called Mini-modding. If you see someone doing this, it is a rulebreak and should be reported.
2. Semi-realism is a must.
Characters can possess weapons and manipulate spirits and such, but the line is drawn at a certain point. Fur coloration must be realistic, there cannot be unnatural colors/designs on an animal. If you're unsure if something is TOO unrealistic, look to see if there is scientific evidence for what you want to do in the RP.
--> If you're unsure if something is unrealistic, ask for help in the Help/support board.
--> Realism is relaxed on this website; your character can know songs/read human writing/write/etc; cats just cannot levitate and whatnot.
3. Sexual/suggestive roleplay is not allowed.
Solarite is considered a PG-13 website, which means that cursing and gory material is allowed; however, sexual or suggestive is not allowed and may result in a warning or even ban from the website.
--> It is not allowed in PM either; if you are caught "taking it to PM" then you will receive a warning.
4. No godmodding or powerplaying.
Powerplaying is when you auto-hit or kill a character; you must "aim" or "try" to attack another person's character. Godmodding is when you act like your character is invincible, as in you automatically dodge every attack thrown at them or they have all knowledge in the entire world.
--> Don't make random characters as reinforcement for your's suddenly appear and so on when attacking/battling - this is called making a "one man army" and isn't at all fair. Because of this it isn't allowed.
5. Don't copy anyone's writing or steal artwork/graphics.
Art theft and plagiarism is not tolerated. You cannot copy/paste someone's literature, or claim that other people's works are yours.
