WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Mirenite.. It was weird. It almost made his mouth tingle, leaving behind a bittersweet taste; it was sort of nice to have a new start with some people, but at the same time the serval missed Aquinite. Sure, Blahkenmuro had some.. poor leadership qualities, but he liked the environment back there. Here in the swamp, there were a lot of mosquitoes and whatnot-- but you were gonna find them anywhere, anyway. There was no use in complaining.
It wasn't all that bad, anyway; Ranunculae-- or Sundancer, as she apparently called herself now-- ended up joining as well, even though she wasn't formerly an Aquinite or Earthinite. What was her reason for joining, anyway? Was it to be closer to him? Probably not, but he liked to think that was the reason. He was quite fond of the other wildcat, especially after everything that happened in her dumb little hiding spot-- that was fun.
Anyway, it was clear that Starslinging was lost in thought; thinking of Sundancer made him lose his footing somehow, causing him to trip forward and send his face right into the mud. "Ugh!" The spotted creature spat, unpleased with the unfortunate event-- at least no one was around, though.
Sure, Sundancer hadn't been the best at... well, keeping in touch. She'd say she liked Absolon easily any day to anyone who asked, especially since there wasn't the barrier of what clan they belonged to in the way anymore. As much as he wanted to deny it, she had in fact joined Mirenite for him. In her mind she was imagining it as an extremely romantic action; they were running away together out of affection for one another, in a love-induced daze that clouded their actions as they together sought out for thrill. Of course, this would never (and wasn't) the case, but a girl could dream.
However, even if she joined Mirenite for the handsome Absolon, she wasn't starting things off right away in this new life by talking to him. No, she was finally blossoming. More beautiful and graceful than ever, not to mention her social life was booming better than ever. Sundancers girlfriends were many - she enjoyed messing around the territory out at night with them, giggling and telling secrets, not to mention playing dumb rounds of truth or dare. She always picked dare, being that action-seeker she was, but the gals always morphed it into some truth about who she liked as if they expected some new answer. That or they said something about running around naked like she was some human. Typical truth or dare.
By chance, though, there was no girlfriends walking and talking with her at her side. Nah, it was just her. It was then that she spotted the male she hadn't seen in so long - why, if she didn't know better, she could say he'd done some aging and maturing of his own. Somehow, even with his young yet strict self. He certainly was looking all of a sudden more handsome than their last outing.
"Hey there, pretty boy," she called playfully, giving him a wink as she strutted over. Sundancer acted like it was nothing on the outside, but in the inside she was having her own sort of happy, giddy fit at seeing Absolon once more.
