His life was short and held no true meaning to it, such simple actions as merely existing had been contained in his time with no real sense of anything to give it something more, that bang he was looking for. If only something spectacular could come to tone the rather drab colours of his life he would have been over joyed yet the dust toned child was not to receive such treatment that he wanted, jaws parting to allow those pale lips to widen into a circle, a sharp intake forming a yawn. He was not a kindly sight, the dust toned fur which covered the lean and bony figure was worn and coated in a fine layering of ash yet still he continued on, each trudging step nearly causing him to tumble for he was not used to such unsteady terrain which coated the volcano, such pieces of volcanic rock that he moved over making his journey all the more hard. But still it was a light hearted sense of joy that gripped the figure of the bobcat, his lips once more moving though this time to form a grin, wide and gap toothed which made him appear all the more childish.
“Helloooo?” The single word was uttered in a light and squeaky tone as he tried to rise his voice into a shout, but Brass found that it was near impossible, his throat a dry mess of tight muscle and flesh seeking water to quench the thirst that gripped him. With excitement reflected in those hazel eyes he came to seek out some movement around him, hoping that at least one person had heard his call and might investigate, though he held little knowledge of the group that called this place home and so was curious to see if he got the wrong place.
