WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
Hummels had been feeling quite ill for awhile now, however continued to be out and about until one point where he refused to crawl out of bed. The only time he moved was when his last meal decided to make a comeback, though luckily it had only happened twice due to his lack of appetite.
But after a week and a few days of it, new symptoms popping up, he began to accept the idea that maybe this wasn't a cold or allergies - maybe it was something... more serious. With a painful cough he got up onto his paws, the cougar trying to make it to the entrance of his cave and look out on his aching joints.
From what Hummels had heard, Corinne was also sick - he hoped it wasn't his fault.
"I see you got it too, huh?" Redhawk rasped as he approached, squinting at Hummels through bleary green eyes. He had a bad cough, and occasionally, chills overtook his increasingly frail body; it was a horrible sickness, that was for sure.
if anyone knew corinne, they knew that there was almost nothing that could keep her from her duties, this sickness included. the wolf was set on the idea that it was simply a bad cold, perhaps even the flu. that said, it wasn't nearly enough to keep her from working... even if she had to lean on a nearby apprentice for support, she could soldier on. what did it make her if she bowed to illness right at the start of her career? corinne was not keen to find out.
pain shook her entire body, and her gait was wobbly. her eyes were glassy, though fixed on hummels and redhawk; very slowly, she approached, and forced out a breath. "h..." and she could say no more, the words seeming to escape the ill canine.
