Shiro panted as he padded closer and closer towards the Pyronite border, happiness filling his copper orbs. He had made it! He'd finally be able to join a group and get food and shelter, he'd make friends and maybe start a family! Oh, his new life was just about to start! The albino lion's face cracked into a large smile as he scanned the area with his gaze, hoping somebody would come quickly. "Hello?" Shiro called out, his hidden hope leaking into his tone. "Is anybody out there? I-I'd like to join, if you would take me in..." This is probably what would happen: they'd turn him away and leave him to die like so many before had... he could not trust, but he could at least look forward to having somebody to trust. His ideal world, where he never had to run away... maybe it wasn't so far off.
"My name is Shiro... if you wanted to know," he said to nobody in particular.
