Introduction--
A group of cats have just recently settled in the rough rain forest, a territory a few miles away from Aquanite grounds. It is like any other, and seemingly is a utopic world. However, there are many trials and tribulations ahead. Crushing waterfalls, poisonous dart frogs, deadly snakes, aggressive howler monkeys and monstrous birds all inhabit this lush kingdom as well. The ground floor of the tropical terrain is the most dangerous, where many cats have been picked off by jaguars or constricting anacondas. In this world, it is truly survival of the fittest.
About Us--
Tropilite is a very diverse group with many types of...Everything to choose from. Our prey comes in many shapes and sizes, depending on appetite, current climate, and of course, what skills you posses. Non-poisonous frogs and lizards scuttle the lively earth, small birds fly the blue skies, and fish are abundant when the jungle is flooded during the rainy season. Tropilite has a unique religion. Much like the Native Americans, Tropilites believe in a mother who goes by many names and identities, who heeds their words. Prayer, dances, feasts and so on are very common. This spirituality of connection between the flora and fauna of the entirety of the world sets Tropilites apart from other Tribes and Clans; the belief that a connection bridges everyone and every thing in an endless hoop of life and creation.
Rankings && Traditions--
The Chief, Chieftess: may promote or demote as he/she sees fit. Leads ceremonies, raids and the like. Has final say in everything, no exceptions. Failure to heed his/her words may result in possible shunning from other clan-mates, and is heavily frowned upon. Often wears a decorative headpiece made from plumage of birds.
The Deputy: Second in command. Is allowed to lead raids, ceremonies and the like with permission from Chief/Chieftess. Often looked up to for combat techniques, will rise to become next Chief/Chieftess when the current one retires or dies. Wears various teeth and feathers, but not a headpiece such as Chief/Chieftess.
The Shaman: A figure of wisdom for the entirety of the Tropilites. May be asked for advice in great time of doubt or need, is the Advisor of the Chief. Diligently practices herbal remedies in the realms of medicine; often is a major part of ceremonies and a tutor to everyone in the Clan. Also, Both the Shaman and Deputy can be promoted to Chief/Chieftess.
