She'd followed the Boss back to the territory, thinking of snappy comments to say in a calm voice the entire time. Or, she would think up these violent scenarios where she would kick everyone's ass for taking her little baby-- she wanted to know who it was, just so she could spit in their face and give them a good scar or two. But it was over and done with, Blahkenmuro had allowed her to retrieve lavakit.
"Hello." She called out in a stern tone, waiting for Aquinites to come and give her child back. "I'm here to retrieve Lavakit."
Lavakit's eyes widened as she saw her mom from her dumb spot in the dungeon. "Mommy!" The kitten wailed, wanting to leave this horrid place. They hadn't tortured her, but Blake (that was her nickname for the Boss since his name was weird) had said they could if they wanted. She knew her mom would come save her!

The young Doctor perked her ears and stiffened. A new scent? And of course it was a pyronite, but not just any of them> Gods of Light, please let her be wrong, PLEASE LET HER BE WRONG- annnnd of course she was right... it was the leader of this despicable clan. A flash of a combination of anger and worry shot through her golden eyes as she glanced over at the fellow shecat. "A-Ah... It's you. Yes well uh.. hello. Come for your daughter, I'd assume?"
Calm as ever, Harborpaw stood behind her fellow Aquinites, tail flicking from side to side slowly. She wouldn't apologize for capturing Lavakit or anything; the cheeky kit had been wandering across their territory, after all.
"That's what I said." The Sheriff confirmed as she glanced over at the Doctor, narrowing her dark eyes slowly. Though, as soon as she heard her daughter's distant voice, her large ears perked and she glanced around to see where she was; and then, she saw her. In a fucking cage. A kitten in a cage, had they no remorse? "She's a kitten." She hissed softly towards Blahkenmuro, giving him the dirtiest look as she trudged past him. "Even Pyronites would spare a kitten."
And so, she approached the cell/whatever it was, trying to find a way to open it. She needed no help, she was smart enough to figure it out on her own-- but was there a lock or something? Or was it easy enough to break?
"It's not like we hurt her." Carolina pointed out as she approached the scene. "If anything, we kept her safe while we waited for whatever irresponsible parent let her out to come looking for her." She hated the fact that the Pyronite was even on their territory right now. After they're proposed alliance and then betrayal. No, she hated these fuckers most of all.
"My mom isn't irresponsible!" Lavakit hissed, turning to face Carolina. How dare she? The tabby was rather defensive over her family and friends, and she certainly wasn't going to be having an Aquinite insult them. She's obviously doing a better job than your mother did. The Pyronite kitten added icily to herself. If she said it out loud, she'd be no better than Carolina-- plus her mom might bop her on the head again and Lavakit didn't like when she did that.
She turned slowly to look the other female dead in the face, staring at her with her dark brown eyes. "I don't care about what you have to say." She meowed in a steady and hollow tone, just before adding in a quick smile. Oraclekeeper was a rather bitchy woman, despite the kind and cool exterior she had a habit of wearing.
She soon popped open the gate, trying to rush Lavakit right out of the cage so she could get going. "Come on, darling; we don't have time to waste here. It seems like they surely have nothing better to do, though." She meowed, waiting for the little kitten to follow.

Amberfoot gazed around at her fellow cats, frowning and flicking her tail. "There was no harm brought upon your child Oraclekeeper. You should be relieved." She flashed a quick nasty look at the sheriff before turning, grabbing the supplies she had been organizing and gracefully walking to her den. Of course this pyronite had to be some snob, thinking she's better. They're practically all like that anyways.
Lavakit was "oh-so definitely sure," that if any of these guys had gotten their kids captured, they wouldn't be all happy and smiley. Jumping out of the cage, the lilac tabby scampered off after her mom, turning her tail upwards at the Aquinites.
