WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
The sun was just setting down and disappearing behind the high volcano as the world seemed to fall silent with the each darker shade that replaced the bright sunshines. Bluemarble, deputy, had been sitting on a huge rock that seemed to be darker than the others around for a minute or so to watch the sunset as her blue pelt was gleaming under the weak sun rays. Her pelt was neat as usual and her chest fur was puffed out as her long and slim figure of her tail was wrapped around her small paws. Pyronite seemed to grow bigger to a large family and yet they had given their first battle which surprisingly ended quickly. The Russian Blue feline shifted on her seat and moved her haunches to get a better seat as her green orbs seemed to be fixed on the reddish sun as it was fading away. She didn't expect anyone to approach as it was her usual spot to relax and think clearly, but she couldn't be so sure could she?
Lavakit saw Bluemarble and decided to slink over to her and strike up a conversation with the deputy. The daughter of Oraclekeeper had been too young to attend the battle, and nobody had talked about it. (Or at least nobody in the conversations she had been eavesdropping on).
With a sudden familiar voice, the fur on her back bristled and she twisted her head to her side to see the daughter of Oracle clearly. She didn't have any proper communication between any member, but somehow she didn't seem like she minded it. Oops, was it even bad or was it good in any way? As the sun got lower and disappeared finally, she opened her mouth to speak. "No, it ended pretty fast to be more clear. The Aquantine leader ended up in Draftinite's leader's jaws and the battle ended with the capture." The femme answered and found her question neutral as no one actually seemed to talk about the battle. Plus, her expression seemed to be dull so she could have guessed that it was a defeat.
So.. it was like a forfeit? If the Aquinite leader got captured then the others probably squealed like pigs, so it was kind of like a win, right? "Well at least nobody was severely hurt." Lavakit mewed with a shrug.
"What's it like being deputy? Is it fun?" Lavakit had a goal to eventually work her way up through the ranks, but she was only four moons old right now so she had lots of time to contemplate that goal.
Well that was also a point of view and Bluemarble definitely agreed with her. Actually it had been a bad ending for the entire Aquantine members because their leader was captured but at least he was not hurt and actually no one was hurt anyways. The Russian blue dipped her head to show that she agreed.
With her recent inquiry, Blue actually paused for a moment because herself did not know how it felt like to be a deputy. The feline's eyes narrowed as she thought then finally came up with a decent answer. "It's a great feeling to see yourself as a deputy because it is a high position, and it's good to be useful to entire clan. On the other hand, it is a great responsibilty." She paused and a smile stretched on her maw as she realized why she was asking it. "Overall, it is such an honor and I have many responsibilities and burden on my shoulders due to our clan. Do you have any plans to be promoted and be a high rank in the future?"
Lavakit gave a small smile at the deputy's last question. "Maybe." The kitten purred. She liked Bluemarble, which was sayin something because she only liked Oraclekeeper and Sunpaw.
"Responsibility sounds boring... But I bet it can't be all that bad if everyone wants to be like my mom some day."
Perhaps that maybe was actually a yes. The deputy saw the same spark in Lavakit as she had seen in Sunpaw; they were both ambitious young ones although Sunpaw was about to become a warrior with the upcoming ceremony. Who knows; they could replace the deputy rank with their accomplishments and Bluemarble could retire to an elder. Well--that sounded rather far in the future as Blue was not old enough to retire.
"Responsibility sounded rather harsh and boring when I was a kit, too, but I instantly forgot the responsibility's boring sound and enjoyed helping my clan when I became a deputy. When you see the happy and satisfied faces; you become proud of your job."
