Name: Kestrelstrike
Past Names: Kestrelkit, Kestrelpaw
Age: 28 Months
Gender: Male
Basic Appearance: Small brown tabby with white markings and green eyes.
Appearance: Kestrelstrike had always been a small statured feline from birth, being the runt of his litter. The tom's narrow shoulder and small build give him an advantage when hiding or attempting to squeeze into small places. Unfortunately, this is a big disadvantage when defending himself or fighting. Kestrelstrike's tiny frame is cloaked in a soft coat of dark mackerel patterned fur. His pelt is a meld of dark and light brown tabby, getting lighter near his underbelly and tail tip. Kestrelstrike has a few splashes of white, including under his chin, belly, and tail tip. His nose is a dark salmon color. The MarshClanner's big eyes are mainly a bright, forest green shade, but flecks of yellow are near the ebony pupil. click 4 image
Basic Personality: Quick thinker, argumentative, curious, risk-taker.
Personality: Kestrelstrike, though small, is a witty and smart kitty. He seems to know how to wiggle his way out of any problem or solve anything. The tom is also very argumentative, loving to debate about anything and everything on a daily basis. He has a weird working memory - he can tell you specific details about something, but not the very important things. Kestrelstrike also tends to drift off and not focus at times, making his job a bit difficult. He is curious, wanting to find out anything and everything. In fights or arguments, Kestrelstrike likes to escalate them further just to see the various outcomes. The MarshClanner is basically smart, loves to debate and take risks, and is curious.
History: Kestrelstrike was the byproduct of two young warriors of MarshClan. His father, Rowanfur, didn't really want kits and just wanted his relationship with Shadeflight to be fun. Shadeflight, on the other hand, did want kits, but not when she had just been made a warrior. The dusky brown she-cat didn't really have an idea of how to be a good mother to her kittens, but she did try her best. She and Rowanfur weren't really mates, they just stuck together so their children would have a father and a mother, even if Rowanfur wasn't around 3/4 of the time. The small brown tabby was obviously the runt of his litter, though he was quick and smart. Kestrelkit became Kestrelpaw, and was apprenticed to the medicine cat of the time. He learned quickly, but never focused and spent more time on marveling at anthills or looking up at the clouds. Moons passed, and Rowanfur was killed on border patrol by a CreekClan patrol. Even if Kestrel hadn't been close to his father, he was still furious and grew a strong dislike towards the clan, avoiding them at all costs. Kestrelpaw became Kestrelstrike, and his mentor died, leaving him utterly devastated. He was grief stricken even more than when his own father died. Kestrel took over as medicine cat/apothecary.
