Lavakit was lying on a large branch in one of the trees at the base of the volcano. It was a boring day, so she figured it would be safe to leave camp.
Lavakit's eyes flickered towards Stone, and she gave a small snort. "Hi." She mewed, stifling a yawn. The kitten slowly made her way down the tree, but rested on a low hanging branch. "How are you?"
Oh yes, he was the one who had been attacked-- not that Lavakit has forgotten. She hadn't bothered to help him because she had no personal ties to him and he seemed to be doing fine so obviously his injuries hadn't been fatal.
"What were you attacked by?" Lavakit asked, cocking her head slightly as she let her tail hang down rrom the branch.
"I can tell." The kitten replied, pursing her lips together and rolling her eyes slightly. She didn't usually have this much attitude but in Lavakit's mind, Stone was kind of dumb. "You shouldn't have gone out alone."
Really? What a nice one. " Nice to know." he responded, voice dry this time. Why was she being so.. upsetting? Wasn't he being okay enough, or what? " Really? Why are you out alone then?"
"Because nobody stopped me, and I'm in a tree." The female replied as if it were completely obvious. She would be able to sense the danger and have time to react, and if it was a bear she would just hope it didn't notice her; though if it did then she would wait until it was almost up the tree and then jump and run for her life.
"I know what patrol means." Lavakit mewed evenly, blinking. "You should have taken Sunpaw with you. You could've died and nobody would have known until you started smelling gross."
Ow. Owowowowowoowow. That hurt. He would squeal like a little school girl, and then hold onto the ground with his claws scrabbling the ground noisily. Ow.
