_{The stocky silhouette of the CreekClan leader was just visible in the early morning light as she stood in the entrance of her den. She was up early, as usual, and as she looked over the sleeping form of her clan, she felt a surprising sense of comfort and warmth.}

The sky was the color of a pale champagne and in the horizon, the trees seemed liked the bubbles trapped inside a glass. A long lengthy pearly cat emerged, his elegant legs slowly completing his strides. His lush green eyes touched along the foreground, soon they came in contact with a red tabby.

Alter-Adel approached her in a circumspect manner, but with a powerful intensity. "Good morning," he spoke softly with his regular charm. The oriental cat completed his statement by situating himself within a respectful, but slightly uncomfortable distance from her.

There were many things to do today, mostly the usually chores. She wasn't easily bored by everyday activities, so she was almost looking forward to them. Anything to keep her paws and mind busy was good enough for her. "I'm going to patrol the DraftClan border, you wanna come with me?" CreekClan had never been popular but DraftClan had been particularly salty towards them back when Blahkenmuro was CreekClan's leader. They hadn't heard much from the other clan, but it never hurt to check up on them and see what they're up to.}

A third figure padded up, stumbling slightly as his tail caught in a bush. His coat was predominantly a pale cream, but he had patches of black also. He wasn't build for speed nor strength, and the way he bumbled through the bush showed he had no aptitude for stealth. The reason for this lay in his blue eyed gaze, turned slightly to the left and above the two already gathered. The male was younger and bowed his head quickly to them. "Could I come?" He asked, flicking a black ear. He was self-secure, perhaps unusual in a blind cat in a clan trying hard to survive. But he had a right to his own values and personalities, so perhaps it wasn't all that out of place.

Noel, being both a younger feline and a newcomer to the clan, had no knowledge of any of the history. That was partly why he asked. "Yeah, the borders have been growing stronger in scent." Noel said thoughtfully, his usual manner. He couldn't see obvious signs of Magmaclan increasing, but he did recall that little tidbit of information. "If you think about the elements each clan represents, Magma clan would probably help us. I would have thought anyway, heat causing wind and fire needing air. Noel was pleasantly surprised and proud that his opinion had been taken into account. Though he had frequent, well-versed insights, others couldn't always see past his outer sight. At the mention of Larkstar, though Noel knew the individual not, he recognised the suffix. The leader of Magmaclan, he presumed. Being a quiet individual and self secure, he made no effort to confirm this. "Agreed." Was all he offered, not wanting to seem controlling or the like, but thankful the female leader had appreciated his comment and contribution.

The scent of Creekclan, which Noel bore himself with pride, wafted over. It was far stronger than the individual scent of Dawnstar or Alter-Adel. That meant it was the border, obviously. The cream inhaled but couldn't smell anything of Draftclan beyond where it should be. Even with little experience personally, he instinctively knew that was as it should be, for this area anyway. It was inbuilt in most, if not all, felines to mark their territory and understanding the concept was easy even for kittens.

Silence could be a good thing, or a very bad thing. They could be plotting quietly and inconspicuously and CreekClan would have no way of knowing it. Noel likewise did a second, perfunctory chin rub. He was proud of his accurate pinpointing of the tree's location, perhaps Dawnstar was a good influence on him. He was inclined to think she was. She saw his views (his verbal ones, anyway) were worth noting but also made him work and didn't baby him. He appreciated it. She also seemed to want peace, as long as that meant her clan was safe or not deprived of justice. If Noel had to make a choice between the two, he didn't know which would be prioritised.

He stopped to give his pelt a quick pick before directing his gentle sightless gaze to the neighbouring clan's territory. "Not yet.
