WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
The snowy white female approached the border with delicate steps, sightless blue eyes mirroring her surroundings. She stopped at the border by the scent although she was a bit off the exact line. But what could you expect, she was blind. Her name was Nivalis, prounounced Ni-Va-Lee which meant snow in Latin. Her whole family had been of latin names so she was no different. She took a deep breath and waited patiently for someone to come along.
"Hello, miss; may I have your name and business?" The words were routine by now, and Redhawk didn't even blink as they left his maw, instead offering her a small smile. Hopefully, the white female was here to join. Activity had been slowing down a bit.
Seeing as the usual question had been asked, the large, scarred cougar lumbered forward, a rather neutral look projected onto his face and features. Hummels awaited an answer.
corinne could feel her body ache with every step, her lungs burn with every struggling breath; it was no secret that the canine viscount was in rough shape. some might even go so far as to declare her condition terminal. whatever the case, the sickness was truly taking a toll on the wolf... pity, she was so young.
perhaps it might have been better for her to remain in bed, resting, clinging to the fragile hope that by the grace of god she might recover, but corinne had never been one to let anything stop her. not sickness, nor fatigue, nor injury; she was a stubborn one! anyway, the canine's glassy eyes were fixed on nivalis. who was this stranger? what did they need? where did they come from? her questions hardly occupied her mind for long, however, because her attention was drawn to the rough, hacking cough that escaped her lips moments later. her condition was deteriorating.
Nivalis lifted her head up at the sound and she could scent the tom in front of her. "N-Nivalis and I am joining. She stared straight ahead, hoping they wouldn't notice she was blind. She was getting pretty good at disguising it, because they would think she was weak.
She scented another presence and then another but the third started to cough so she swung her head to her direction and asked "Are y-you alright?"
she struggled to speak. corinne's maw was open, and her vocal cords strained to produce sound, but they were so swollen that speaking was difficult for the viscount; only after some more coughing and clearing of her irritated throat could she force out a breathy, feeble reply. "i'm fine." corinne declared, attempting to stand up a little straighter in order to fool this cat into thinking she was alright. little did she know nivalis was unable to see but ah, well.
She felt a bit bad for this female who didn't seem 'fine'. But what did she know, she was blind. "Well t-thats goog to h-h-hear." She responded, flicking her tail and waiting for someone to accept her or something.
