Hummels has been walking alongside an old road that went through the territory - it had been allegedly blocked and access to it wasn't possible due to a wooden bridge collapse. And so, no cars were ever found on it, vines taking over part of the surface and grass sprouting through the cracks. The paint was faded, however the surface of the road was dark.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw something - oddly curious but cautious, he went towards the strange item. It was a sword in its sheath, a black one. He slid it out carefully by the hilt, the cougar examining the blade - it was black with a grayish-silver lining. The hilt was black as well, a grey circle where it met the blade with a black "x" crossing through it. The sword and sheath itself was beautiful, but especially when it came in contact with the sun.
Luckily, the sheath was built to be worn across a human waist. He wrapped it around him - it was sort of loose but almost just right. He slide the sword back in, Hummels wearing a pleased look on his face.
"What's that you've got there?" Redhawk asked curiously, green eyes running over the belt that wrapped around Hummel's attractive, perfectly shaped ... - no, no, no, he wasn't thinking that - perfectly normal body. It looked a little like a sword, the Marquis thought, squinting down at it.
"A sword, Redhawk," he informed the tom, dipping his head in unsaid greeting as he took a few steps closer towards him. "It's sheathed, currently, but would you like to see it?" Hummels wasn't the boasting type, but offering people to look at it he was more than happy to do. It looked so elegant, yet powerful - he liked that.
from the safety of a nearby bush, corinne stared curiously at the sheathed weapon. the viscount was rather intrigued; what was that thing? hummels had identified it as a "sword", and corinne supposed that was what it was called, but still she found her amber eyes drawn to it. what did it do? what was it used for? how had he come across it? stepping out of the little shrub the wolf peered at the item.
