WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
It wasn't clear what had happened, but from the sheer amount of blood leaking out of Sunshot's throat, it was clear that the Ranger was dead; had been for a while, judging by the stench drifting from her pelt.
Judging by the blood and stench, Lavakit knew that she wouldn't be able to help Sunshot. It was obvious she was dead and no herbs would bring her back.
This was the second death this week-- it was sad. Was there a killer out there? What did they want? Perhaps.. perhaps it was a pack of dogs or something, seeing that she ran into one before. That sure wasn't fun, eh?
Oraclekeeper glanced over towards Lavakit and let out an inaudible sigh. Was she already used to the death? Her reaction wasn't the same as before-- but being a Nurse now probably meant that she had to buckle down and tough it out. Hmm.
"I'll prepare the funeral." The Sheriff mumbled as she turned and padded off, leaving to start a fire and burn Sunshot's body. It was a shame.. she really liked Sunshot. She was so sweet, she remembered when she was just Sunpaw.. excited to get her warrior name. What a shame.
The loss would certainly linger in Lavakit's heart and mind for a long time, but after her last episode she was rather determined not to lose control like that again. It had done little good to the situation and had probably just invoked more fear and panic.
Hazel eyes watching her mother, Lavakit simply gave a nod, not really trusting herself to speak. It was sad. Sunshot had been her friend as well, and the first cat and friend, who wasn't family, that she had met.
