WELCOME TO SOLARITE. Cats representing the four elements fight to survive and take all they can from the others. Pollution and mysterious events is what keeps everyone down, sometimes it proves to even be fatal. It's 'fend for yourself', everybody against everybody. Who will win? Who's side are you on?
Up against him, she shrugged slightly, not wanting to make him move. Maybe she was cold, but that didn't mean she was also doing this just for that reason. "I don't like danger, I don't like trouble. I like excitement. I don't want to be boring or normal." Did Absolon understand? Or was he just going to continue being his worry wart self?
He was a wreck, but a cute little wreck. A warm one, too - she learned that quick, snuggling up to him even more. Ranunculae lifted a law up to grab her white flower, removing to put it behind the servals ear with a small giggle. Maybe he'd let it stay there! The thought made her all giddy and hot inside - maybe he wouldn't be like a typical boy and she hand it back making a gross face.
Hearing Absolon speak made a smile form on her lips; it was a small, soft one. The bobcat looked up at him, right in her eyes with her own enchanting pair of hazel hue. Her mouth barely moved as she whispered, "Now you have someone to hold, Absolon. She'll always be there; be it in the water lovers land or the fire lovers home."
He partially understood, even if looking for excitement often led to danger; danger was never good, either. He often avoided it, and when there was a problem he would let himself get swung around like a ragdoll. Pathetic? Maybe, but hey. That was just how he rolled. "I think the lines between danger and excitement are blurred for you, Ranunculae.."
He pressed I to her and allowed a small purr to vibrate in his throat, though he soon let it stop when she started speaking again. His deep copper eyes blinked only once as he turned his head to look back down at her; it was like he was locked into staring at her, gawking down at the bobcat as she spoke so sweetly. She was.. divine. She was the epitome of sublimity. He wanted her to be his.
"I.." He trailed off, his tongue going dry; what was he supposed to say? Thanks? Thank you would not cut it. "Always? But.. what if you find someone? What if we can't hold each other no more then?" His words lowered to a soft whisper as his head sunk to the ground, though his eyes never left hers. His jaws rested comfortably on his paws as he awaited her reply, hoping she would let him down at least a little in a gentle manner.
"Life is full of danger. I think the lines between life and danger are blurred for you, Absolon," she briefly grinned back at him, stump of a tail moving and flicking. "I won't let danger get to you though, water boy. With me here, nothing will ever hurt you!" Ranunculae lifted up a found paw, making an "x" motion on her chest like she was crossing her heart.
Her eyes blinked to a close and a rumbling purr rose in her, however she wouldn't even try to contain it or fight it off. In such a moment, a thing like that was impossible - this was heaven. Ranun was wondering what made this miracle happen. Here she was, next to a handsome mister. The best part there was no clanner here to control her. No one here to tell her what to do. The bobcat thought excitement was when you could go where you want and all, be rebellious... but this was true excitement; the excitement of slowly feeling your heart grow faster for someone.
Ranunculae's little grin shifted back to its previous smile as she leaned down to give him a small peck on the cheek, a lil kiss that was quick and simple. In a low voice, her whisper barely filled the empty air, "I believe I have possibly found someone, Absolon." She felt more daring than she ever thought she was before! It was exhilarating.
Although she smiled, he felt as though she was sending him a serious message; perhaps she was right. Maybe he needed to be more.. laid back? Less tense? He wish he could be, but unfortunately that was not the case. He could never see himself being laid back nor much of a thrill seeker at all-- never. But eh.. maybe Ranunculae was right.
He blinked at her next words, before a smile spread across his lips. Her little gesture was certainly amusing to him, no doubt; it was cute, even. He liked how she had guts, how she had not a single care. "Same.. goes for you. Dork." He meowed with a weak nod, just before inching in closer to her-- even though she could not get any closer. But it was still worth trying, right?
Compared to Ranunculae, Absolon was the butterfly while he was a moth. He did not speak much, that was made clear; he also hated adventure, though she did. But.. despite being polar opposites, he couldn't help himself when he tried to find what they had in common. And, honestly? The serval didn't find much, but the bond was still strong between the two, even if they were still just strangers to each other.
And then-- she kissed him.
It came out of nowhere. And boy, did it make the male's cheeks red; his was so flustered, so embarrassed.. what was he supposed to do? Well, he kissed her back. Except, it was on the top of her head; an overwhelming desire for more affection took over him, though, and he soon found himself nuzzling his cheek where he placed his own kiss. With her, he did not feel scared-- shocking, right? "Yeah.. me too.. that rock over there looks like it's givin' me the bedroom eyes.." He choked out a purr, though he did not want to speak much-- the wildcat feared he would ruin the moment they were sharing.
