Yawning, Helixpaw awoke from her deep slumber. The sun was partially raised in the sky, half cut-off from the treeline. It cast watery rays of golden light upon the forest, as the darkness began to fade. Heli always thought this was the most beautiful part of the day - dawn, sunrise.
Smiling, she stretched and padded out to look at the blazing sun.
