Name: Goldchain / Goldstar
Name Origin: Goldy is pretty well obsessed by the materialistic and making money. Her name, which she choose herself after deciding being a wandering merchant wasn't for her, just fits.
Nickname(s) Goldy, Merchant, swindler, Anna
Reason for nickname Goldy is a shortening of her name, merchant is essentially what she was and still is. Swindler is what she's called by those she's crossed, and any of the small amount of unhappy customers. Anna is what she was called before she joined up and older members may call her this if they feel a sense of familiarity.
Age 6 years old. Fully mature
Looks what age? Young adultish
Birthday: 31st of January
Species Red Panda
Gender: Female
Clan: Marshclan
Rank: Applying for deputy
Physical: Goldy has a slim build, even for a red panda. She has a form for running and speed, although she is also muscled. She has typical rufescent fur, the expected for a red panda. She hasn't, however, got the usual white bands on her tail. The only white marking on that limb is the tip, which is white as normal. She has sparkling brown eyes and a pink triangular nose. She is always well groomed as is best for business. Her afore mentioned tail streams out behind her when she runs and she never seems to sit still, though wouldn't be classed as twitchy. Her gait is firm and confident but also quick and mincing, reminicent of her wordplay. Her voice is typical of a merchant- smooth, friendly, cheerful. It is higher than the average and laden with 'loves' and 'sweeties'.
Talents: She's a great public speaker, swordwoman, debater / arguer and merchant. She can price wares at a glance and persuade anything is worth buying.
Personality:
+ Reliable: If Goldy promises something, she'll deliver. An ally will stay an ally, for example. Her services and effort will always be of the highest level - and that's a guarantee. Even if her methods and goals seem materialistic her wares are effective, her strength undoubtless and her agreements kept.
+ Confident: This red panda is confident. Why not? She's secure in herself and her abilities as a merchant and a deputy. Her skill with a sword is envied and her nest egg is huge. What rariety money can't buy, her silver tongue can move or her sword can subdue.
+ Quick-witted: Whether she uses it for purposes moral or no, she's undoubtedly quick-witted. She can use her clever wordplay to convince a potential buyer, bamboozle a hostile or even turn away her numerous suiters. She can count, write, haggle and sketch incredibly well, all signs of her quick reactions and intelligence.
- Selfish: Though she wouldn't phrase it as such, Goldy always looks out for Numero Uno first. Whether it's simply choosing the prime piece of prey or unscrutupolously getting the end of the deal, she wants her own comfort and feels no guilt in it. She hasn't changed much from being a travelling merchant. However there are, if not positives, less negative effects from this. She knows what benifits her. She won't take stupid risks and letting down the clan or a customer isn't going to give her a good reputation, so se knows not to.
- Manipulative: Okay, this is a biggie. Goldy wants everything to be forever in her favour and this means she enjoys being the puppetmaster. She'll always makes sure she has information and the latest gossip and wouldn't even be above blackmail if it benifited. She isn't to be confused with a control freak. However, you can't be a persuasive merchant without controlling the market as best you can. This and her selfishness are the traits her enemies (somewhat unfairly) define her by. This isn't to be confused with ambition, she doesn't wwant to take over the whole world or anything. Just to stay as secure as possible.

Life pilosophy:"Nothing comes free"
Sayings: "Careful love. Prices aren't the only thing I cut. "
"See something you like?"
"Dang, I am good at this business thing."
"Everything can be bought."
History: As a kit, Anna was social and already had an eye for business. Born to a mother likewise called Anna (as all females in the family were) and a father called Gaius, both parents served as theives, if honourable. They scavanged for candy and food. Anna just didin't feel like this was worth it, all the scrounging. So a young Anna left home and journeyed further into the city. Over time she collected some pretty items and made use of her agile paws. After being asked constantly if she knew where some more of her objects could be found, Anna recognised the demand and set up a small shop in exchange for food. This hit off instantly. She grew a merchant's silver tongue. She couldn't store all the food she found and from here discovered money. Money, money, money. They say money can't buy happiness but honestly Anna had it pretty good. She had already toughened up from having to protect her wares, so when she decided to learn swordplay it didn't take long.
Relationships
With self:
She has quite a high opinion of herself, but isn't obsessed. She will try and fufill any craving she has and could be seen as self-indulgent. and she is, in a way. She will always put her needs above others. The only real exemption to this was something that happened while she was a traing merchant. She was asked to safely transport a snow leopard. This may sound easy but he'd had a stroke in the past and was grossly uncoordinated and couldn't speak well. Still, the going was good most of the way, until they were set on by bandits. Anna (as she was called then) held them off wellish, but her poor escortee was swamped. The smart thing to do would have been to run, but Anna's intinct was to protect her customer. She attempted to and luckily a group in the area quickly sent the bandits on their way. It was here she wondered if she actually was better than she thought she was. If she did have some sort of morals. The day left a mark on her and is still reflected in the way she prioritises a customer.
